Tata Steel, one of the world's largest steel makers, Is looking for young, energetic and experienced candidates with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAG) from National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) for its Steal Plant at Kalinganagar, Jaipur, Odisha.
Experience: Minimum
3 years (completed) of working experience (as on July 1,2014) after passing All
India Trade Test for Apprentices. Experience in Mechanical Maintenance or
Operations connected with Steel Plant is necessary. Experience in Steel Plain
Operations should be In the areas of Coke Plant, By Product Plant, Sinter
Plant, Blast Furnace, Lime Calcining Plant, Steel Melting Shop, Hot Strip Mill,
Utilities, Raw Material Handling & Logistics. For candidates who have
passed ITI / ITC (possessing National Trade Certificate), and then passed All
India Trade Test for Apprentices (National Apprenticeship Certificate) from
NCVT, experience will be counted after passing ITI / ITC. It will NOT
include one year apprenticeship period which Is mandatory for appearing
In ATTT for Apprentices.
Marks: Those
with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in the ATTT for Apprentices are
eligible to apply. This eligibility criterion has been relaxed upto 5% of marks
for SC/STs and Project Affected People of Tata Steel, Kalinganagar.
However, the minimum marks, as Indicated, Is not considered as the cut-off
marks for selection for written test.
Maximum Age limit: 35
years as on July 1, 2014. This eligibility criterion shall be 40 years for
SC/ST and Project Affected People (PAP) of Tata Steel, Kalinganagar.
Emolument: The
selected candidates will be placed with a starting Basic Pay of Rs 7000/- pm in
the grade of Rs 7000-300-12400 pm, and Variable DA as per Increase / decrease
of AIACPI. Monthly Gross = Rs 16500/- approximately and CTC = Rs 2.63 Lakh per
annum approximately (Including cost of benefits and retrials). Those with
experience of 4 years {completed} or more will be suitably compensated.
Entitlements: The selected candidates will be eligible for Mouse Rent Allowance, Conveyance Allowance, Washing Allowance, Children Education Allowance, Uniform Allowance, Special Allowance, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Instance, Annual Bonus and Contributory PF.
No Objection
Certificate (NOC): All candidates who qualify in the written test
and are permanent employees of any of the Tata Group company or subsidiary of
Tata Steel Ltd shall need to bring their NOC at the time of Interview without
which they will not be Interviewed.
