Method of Recruitment Direct Recruitment
Age limit Not exceeding 35 years. Relaxation in age for direct recruitment in respect of candidate having experience in reputed Museums in the relevant area of the post, age limit upto the number of years of their experience, which shall not however exceed the maximum period of 5 years is relaxable by the Salar Jung Museum Board on the recommendation of the Selection Committee. Note: The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India (and not the closing date prescribed for those in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of J&K State, Lahaul & Spiti district and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep).
Educational and other Essential: qualifications (a) A Master's degree in Museology/ Archaeology/ History/ Fine Arts from a recognized university. (b) 3 years' experience in a reputed museum in a responsible position. Desirable: (i) Post Graduate diploma in Museology for nonMuseology post graduates. (ii) Computer Knowledge (M.S. Office)

Method of Recruitment Direct Recruitment

Educational and other Essential : qualifications (a) Master's degree in Fine Arts/History/ Archaeology from a recognized University / Institution. (b) 2 years' experience in Designing Galleries / Display of Museum objects in a Museum/ Cultural Institution. Desirable: (i) Computer Knowledge (M.S. Office) (ii) Should have undergone trainings in Museum display/ design techniques.
