Application invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Name of the posts - JRF
Qualification: M. Sc. with first class in Earth Sciences / Geology / Marine Geology / Marine Sciences (Geology or Chemistry) from a recognized University. UGC-CSIR Net qualified will be given preference. Candidates with experience of participation in oceanographic cruises, handling analytical equipment for water and sediment analysis are preferred. Candidate selected requires to participate in Arctic, Antarctic and southern Ocean expeditions to collect samples.
The position is purely temporary and initial appointment will be for one year and extendable on satisfactory performance. Project tenure is 3 years.
Interested candidates may submit application for the position of JRF to work under research project entitled” Estimation of Beryllium from Polar Regions and lakes sediments (like Dal lake, Loktak lake, Lakes in Leh region) - paleo-oceaographic implications”, sponsored by Inter University Accelerator Centre (Nuclear Science Centre) of UGC, New Delhi.
